Steve has served as Pulpit Minister with the Hilldale Church of Christ Highway 76 - Clarksville, TN since August 15th, 1999.  Steve is a native of Lafayette, TN., but lived in Allen County, Kentucky from the 4th grade until college age.

He holds both the B.A. and M.A. degrees in Bible from David Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN. He has formally served in church ministry for 43 years [Youth Ministry for 6 years (3 of those = part-time), and Pulpit Ministry for 37 years].

Prior to moving to Clarksville, he served with the Hillsboro Church of Christ and the Riverwood Church of Christ, both in Nashville, TN.; the Washington Street Church of Christ in Fayetteville, TN.; the Meridian Church of Christ in Meridian, MS.; and the Nashville Rd. Church of Christ in Gallatin, TN. Steve is married to the former Lisa Delap from Lincoln County, TN.

They have four daughters: Jennifer [John], Beth [Jason], Katherine, and Diana; and two grandsons: Zachary and Caleb. As one of ten children himself, Steve enjoys “family time” of all sorts with his immediate and extended family! Additionally, he enjoys motorcycle riding, watching sports on T.V. (especially football), and fishing.
